Thin cores and pins usually are not reached by traditional cooling channels and create several issues during the cooling phase of injection moulding.

Their thermal inertia extends the cycle time and generates defects on the plastic parts such as sink marks and deformations.

Performal™ pins are designed with a spiral cooling channel that enable us to get close to the top of the part with the cooling media, increase the area for thermal exchange and turbulence while keeping very high mechanical properties.
